Walk To School Day brought our community together to celebrate the value of walking, exercise, and road safety!
Fall Harvest and Planting
This week Mr. Anderson and volunteer students harvested the remaining plants in the garden. They sold fresh basil to our Lockhurst families. Students volunteered during their recess time to clean out the garden and plant fall crops!
Red Ribbon Week
This week was more than a fun dress up week for our students. During this week students learned what drugs are and how drugs can affect the body. Students had discussions on making smart choices and pledging to stay away from harmful drugs in the future.
Halloween Parade
Students, teachers, and parents celebrated Halloween at our annual costume parade! We had fun dressing up and showing off our costumes!
Salad Fest
Our student gardeners harvested lettuce from our garden and served our student body, teachers, and staff. We had so much lettuce students kept coming back for more!
Holiday Show
We had a another festive holiday show and a packed audience this year. We had a special performance from our advanced orchestra and our Lockhurst Hula dancers.
Johnson Art Studio
We are excited to start the new year off with the opening of the Johnson Art Studio. Thanks to Ms. Johnson, Lockhurst received a grant to fund an art studio. We are excited to have this space where we can let creativity grow!
